libcxxtools-dev software package provides library of unrelated but useful C++ classes, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libcxxtools-dev
libcxxtools-dev is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libcxxtools-dev package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libcxxtools-dev *
You will get with libcxxtools-dev package name, version, architecture and description in a table
